Get face-to-face support to complete your census forms
You can get face-to-face support to complete your census forms at community places and events throughout Aotearoa New Zealand, or online.
You may see these referred to sometimes as "assisted completion locations" or "assisted completion events".
Trained staff at these places and events can:
- answer your questions about the census
- provide you internet access and a device to complete your forms online
- help you understand your census forms
- support you to answer the questions in your census forms.
All staff at census support events and locations will treat your information and privacy with care and respect.

Support locations will be available to help you throughout the census period. Some locations' opening hours or availability may be affected by Cyclone Gabrielle.
Events will usually take place on a single day. Some are part of other community events, such as festivals.

You do not need to bring anything with you. We have everything you need to do the census.
If you do have a census pack, forms, or letter, feel free to bring them with you, but you do not need to.
