Tatau Tātou - Census Fest 2023
Stats-US! ✨️ On Census Day Porirua came together as a community and held ‘Tatou Tātou - Census Fest’. This event sought to bring people together to complete their census in the only they knew how, with good music, local talent and some good food.
In partnership with Whānau Manaaki and Ngā Uri o Whiti te Rā Mai Le Moana Trust and with support from the Porirua City Council, Immanuel Kingdom Ministries and Porirua Development we were able to garner record numbers of families, young people and community members to complete their census forms.
We thank the beautiful people of Porirua for coming along and completing their census, because of them, they're counted.

ALL OF US COUNT 🤝🏾 Proudly sponsored by the Stats NZ | 2023 Census, the ASB Polyfest 2023 was held again in South Auckland for the first time in-person since Covid-19 and it was a grand return to seeing the beauty of Pacific cultures. It also saw us spread the census goodness to all the amazing young Pacific people and their communities.
We got to see young people and their families complete their census forms in between showcasing their amazing cultures on stage, some families completing their census for the first time ever.

Canterbury Polyfest 2023 x 2023 Census
This year saw the return of Canterbury Polyfest, this time at North Hagley Park. Our census team were there to ensure our Pacific young people were educated about census and completed their forms. For some families this was their first time completing their census and being counted.
With awesome Pacific cultural performances, good music and some classic Christchurch weather Canterbury Polyfest helped our communities do the deed and be counted.

Pasifika Festival 2023 x 2023 Census
